SouthEast Asia

Southeast Asia is one of the most diverse, dynamic, and spiritually impactful regions in the world. Nestled in the heart of the 10/40 Window—the area of the world with the greatest concentration of unreached people groups—this region is home to nearly 700 million people and over 1,800 distinct people groups. Yet, 38% of these groups remain unreached, with little to no access to the Gospel.

Southeast Asia includes the countries of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. Each country holds a rich tapestry of languages, cultures, and traditions, making this region both fascinating and complex for missions work. From bustling cityscapes to remote rice paddies and rubber fields, every corner of Southeast Asia tells a story of beauty, resilience, and a deep need for the transforming message of Christ!

Reaching the unreached in Southeast Asia comes with significant obstacles:

  • 700+ Least-Reached People Groups: Comprising nearly half of the population, these groups have NO access to local churches, Bibles, or Christian communities. Every one of these numbers represents individual lives—families, children, and entire communities—waiting to encounter the transformative power of the Gospel.

  • Religious Strongholds: Predominantly influenced by Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Animism, and other Eastern spiritual practices, many communities have never heard the name of Jesus.

  • Persecution and Opposition: Believers in many regions face intense social, familial, and governmental persecution, often risking their safety simply by following Christ. Government restrictions and societal pressures make evangelism challenging in many regions

  • Geographic Isolation: Remote villages are often accessible only by foot, motorbike, or boat.

  • Lack of Resources: Pastors and churches frequently lack Bibles, teaching materials, and training.

Yet, God continues to open doors. We’ve seen churches planted in rubber fields and rice paddies, pastors trained and empowered, and hearts transformed in regions once thought unreachable.

The Time to Act is Now

The need in Southeast Asia is urgent. Millions still wait to hear the name of Jesus for the first time—people with names, stories, and hearts longing for hope. Today, we have an unprecedented opportunity to reach them—if we act now, with boldness, compassion, and unwavering faith. The window is open, but it won't stay open forever.

We believe that one spark—a single pastor trained, a single child taught, a single community reached—can ignite a fire that spreads the Gospel to the darkest corners of the world!

Will you join us? Together, we can bring the light of the Gospel to those who have never heard the name of Jesus!
